Bike Charging and Charger Responsibility

1. As a participant in a cycling tour with luggage transfers, I understand that it is my responsibility to ensure my e-bike battery remains adequately charged throughout the tour.

2. I agree to:
- Charge the Battery Daily
- I will charge the e-bike battery each evening at my overnight accommodation. I am responsible for monitoring the battery level and ensuring there is sufficient charge for the following day's ride.

Pack the Charger with My Luggage Each Day
3. I will place the charger in my luggage before it is collected for transfer each morning and ensure it travels with me to my next overnight accommodation. 

Verify Charger Transfer
4. I will confirm each day that the charger has been packed and transferred with my luggage. I understand that the PEI Cycling Tours is not responsible for chargers that are misplaced, left behind, or not packed by me.

Loss, Damage, or Failure to Transport the Charger
5. I accept responsibility for any loss, theft, or damage to the charger during the tour. I understand that replacement chargers and any associated delivery costs will be charged to me.

Consequences of Insufficient Charging
6. If my battery is not adequately charged, or if my charger is unavailable because I failed to pack or transfer it, I accept responsibility for any resulting delays, interruptions to the tour, transportation costs, service calls, battery exchanges, or other related expenses.

Limited Tour Operator Responsibility
7. I understand that while PEI Cycling Tours may assist when possible, it cannot guarantee immediate replacement chargers, battery swaps, or technical support resulting from my failure to charge the battery or transport the charger.

By participating in the tour and accepting the e-bike and charger, I acknowledge and accept full responsibility for maintaining adequate battery charge levels and ensuring the charger travels with my luggage throughout the tour.
